- 1958-1973: Founded as Reliance Commercial Corporation (1958), evolved into Reliance Textiles Industries Ltd (1966), and finally incorporated as public Mysylon/Mynylon Ltd in 1973.
- 1977-1986: Launched an IPO in 1977 (oversubscribed 7x); transitioned to public company status by 1986–87.
- 1991-92: Commissioned Hazira petrochemical plant; Jamnagar Refinery operational by 1999 and expanded to the world’s largest refining complex.
